VIDEO: Havasupai Backpacking Adventure

10/04/2016

Did a 4-day backpacking trip to Havasupai, AZ and had a blast! We camped under the stars and in between canyon walls, swam in turquoise colored waters, and chased beautiful waterfalls. It was amazing! Here is a video of our whole adventure in 2 minutes.

Big, big thanks to Field Trip Jerky for sponsoring this video! Do check out their all-natural and gluten-free jerky, in different flavors. The Maple BBQ Pork Jerky is my personal fave!

    1. Wow, what a beautiful place. Never even knew this existed. The US truly has some hidden gems. I really need to make time to explore them.

    1. I can’t believe you packed all this into such a short video! I also had no idea that Arizona was quite so beautiful. I’m not much of a backpacker or waterfall chaser, but perhaps I should change my tune 😉

      1. It will totally be worth it, believe me! There’s so much beautiful places out in the world that are so hard to get to because they are all hidden, but that’s what makes it very special (and less crowded!).

    1. I loved your video. Such a nice rhythm. Loved beauty of the nature and especially waterfalls. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Wow looks like you had an amazing time. The waterfalls are so beautiful and the water just looks amazing. Plus, weather looks perfect.

      1. It was purely paradise, and i’ll never ever forget this trip 🙂 the water was a bit cold but when the sun was out, it was perfect!

    1. WOW!! We haven’t really been anywhere in the USA (only myself on an exchange so long ago) but this seems SO cool. And you guys had so much fun! Thanks for sharing

    1. That is so cool. I hope to go one day soon. do I need 4 days, prefer 2?

      1. 4 days is definitely ideal! You’d need one day to hike in, and one day to hike back 🙂 ..unless you opt for the helicopter ride in and out, then that might give you more time to explore the place.

    1. Nature is so beautiful with so many elements to trek through! So sorry you got rained on…but those views! I think the waterfall was my favorite though 🙂

      1. Thanks Jessica! We were actually thankful for the drizzle, it made the hike-in much cooler than expected. Would’ve been harder to hike under the sun with the heavy pack and the loooong trail 🙂 Gotta love the waterfalls, for sure!

    1. Looks like you guys got lots done during your 4 days. I loved the waterfall and it looks so surreal. Where exactly is Havasupai?

      1. It is in Supai, AZ. Near Peach Springs. One of the most surreal places I have ever visited! Wish we had more days, though. It is always never enough. Lol!

    1. I love how your brought a inflatable with you! Looks like you had a a blast… that turquoise colour looks completely unreal especially against the red rocks!

How long is the trail? 🙂

      1. A lot of the people there were also surprised we brought floaters, but I was surprised no one did! Haha! The trail was 10miles long one way. It was tough but worth it!

    1. Really cool! I love jumping off the waterfalls. There’s something similar from where I came from. If you’re adventurous, you should try Kawasan Falls in Cebu. 🙂

      1. Cebu! Yes, i’ve heard so much about Kawasan Falls! I’m actually born and raised in the Philippines so i’ve been to quite a few places out there (have yet to see more!). Nothing beats our islands there, Melai 🙂 I can’t wait to go back home!
