Above The Clouds at Haleakalā

One of the highlights of our trip to Maui back in July was going to Haleakalā National Park to watch the sunrise. The cloud formation up this volcano was incredible, and as the sun rose, the smooth movement of the clouds made it look like it was the ocean, but instead all white and fluffy!

In about an hour the sky changed colors, from orange to blue. It was such a spectacular sight! Most people (including me) rarely see the sunrise, because we all tend to stay in bed when we wake up and it takes a lot of effort to step out of the house. So seeing the sunrise this day felt so refreshing!

Hawaii is such a beautiful place, either down the ocean or on top of the mountains. I certainly can’t wait to be back!
